Food & Drink
What we do: PovoChef provides cheap and easy recipes, tips and restaurant reviews for anyone on a tight budget. We will launch with a free e-book, website and cooking channel, and sell print cook books. We aim to grow into a physical cooking school in the future. We LOVE food, drinks and cooking and want to help others to cook amazing, delicious meals from scratch without spending a lot of money. Target audience: initially 18-25 year old University students in Australia who love food. Then, more broadly targeting anyone on a tight budget including families, school students and working professionals.
Logo types to explore
Note: In Australia, the word "povo" does not generally have negative connotations, despite meaning poor/ low budget. Requests: - Should not have a space between the words Povo and Chef. Pretend it is one 8 letter word, but the P and C must be upper case letters. - An image/ icon/ emblem that connotes low budget cooking/ food/ home cooking, but hopefully nothing too literal. - Alternatively, you could play around with designing images with the letter P as the icon or the whole word. - Any icon should be fun, modern and recognisable, but nothing cartoonish. - Whatever colour you use, I also need to be able to use the logo with a transparent background so I can put it onto any cooking photos we take. I am very open to creativity and ideas and will endeavour to give all entries detailed feedback. I appreciate the work that goes into the process and I am giving all designers a lot of freedom to explore interesting logos. Thanks for your time!
