Create a flexible logo which works for a nationwide network of local city pages

We are running a nation wide network of more than 50 local news pages in germany. In the network are various local news pages which always concentrate around a specific city like Cologne, Duisburg or Essen. The pages are all independet from each other and publish mainly positive local content like stunnig pictures of the city, statements for locals, event recommendations, local tips and local news. The readers and fans of the pages highly identify themselves with the local pages and truly love their city. Altough all pages run independently they all share the overall brand name «Wir lieben {city name}» which means «We love {city name}». {city name} is a place holder and should be replaced with the cities name. Right now all pages have different designs which aren´t consistent and well designed.

I'd like to explore the following colors: Reds: Energy, action, passion and love. Let designers make suggestions: Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
