taplaw got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create an elegant logo with vintage appeal for an upstart coffee roaster: Vice & Virtue.
Check out taplaw's Logo design contest…
Food & Drink
Vice & Virtue is an upstart micro-roaster of fine coffee. Our target audience is people with a taste for the finer things in life. From cultured connoisseurs to just plain wannabes, coffee is more than a drink; it's a social event that evokes energy, envy, ambition, pride, and even fear — that vibrant range of the human experience, full of vice & virtue.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury. Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
taplaw collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Super. Very creative designer. The specs were rigid, and honestly, I thought I may not be able to find the kind of design I was looking for. In fact, all submissions were unimpressive. But at the last minute, this designer came and he came up with this creative idea that satisfied the specs and it was super cool. I was not expecting this. Very happy to have worked with him and I will definitely check back again.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
