Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Traditional wellbeing and health platforms link habit change to traditional goals of weight loss, health change (examples being guard against chronic disease, pain reduction) which for the participant are really distant benefits. Latest neuroscience research show that linking health change to such goals creates a cycle of failure.
The Move Smarter program looks to connect participant’s to concrete habit change that create concrete ways to meaningfully enhance the quality of the user’s life now.
The program highlights immediately noticeable reasons for implementing our messages, concrete ways that the participant and their lives benefit every day to motivate the consistency of implementing the message which leads to long term sustainability.
By creating these links we wish to take the participant’s outlook from thinking of movement as a chore to rather a gift which they present to themselves. When we change our primary reason for moving to a reason that is deeply compelling and relevant to our daily lives and we also start moving in a way that feels good, our meaning for the behaviour moves from a negative to a positive. We are reframing what movement means for the large majority.
By creating this program we are moving the reason for habit change from a very narrowly focused goal to rather engaging in habit change because it feels good, thus creating the successful cycle of motivation.
We would love the logo to reflect not the traditional thoughts around movement, but instead reflect the message we are trying to create in the program. The program will have to engage directly business to consumer but also business to business, with the end-user being the employee..
