Seeking development for GoSend.com international shipping and e-commerce solution, which works directly with consumers across both borders and retailers. GoSend provides foreign consumers with a U.S. mailing address and virtual locker (which enables them to buy from any retailer, not just those with an international checkout option) to receive both reduced/free shipping and lower prices of their goods. GoSend will allow users to pre-fund their account and have GoSend purchase products on their behalf if certain merchants do not accept international credit cards. GoSend will receive the items at a designated warehouse in Delaware (land of tax-free shopping) and inspect it prior to repacking and consolidating for shipment with USPS, FedEx, DHL Worldwide and other possible freight carriers. We use Delaware facilities due to the fact that there are no sales taxes for items shipped to Delaware, thus it will save our customers more money and give us a competitive advantage to help differentiate us from our competition. Duty and taxes will need to be filled out prior to shipment, and it will be upon the customer to determine the value of the item. Target audience: Any foreign consumers. We give them the DE warehouse and their own virtual locker address to use on checkout as their US address to ship to. The age range might be mostly mid-20s to late 40s, perhaps mostly female, cost-conscious, bargain hunters and savvy consumers who want simple, safe, affordable solutions to their shopping dilemmas. Currently, the market is 790M foreign shoppers per year.
Logo types to explore
The logo should have a clean, modern font, convey “forward thinking”, should translate well internationally, thus should have a global appeal. Research international color schemes (steer away from offensive colors). Every language should understand the word “go”, thus probably separate “go” and “send”, as we don’t want consumers thinking “what is a ‘gosend’”. It is OK to insinuate a globe, as long as not too cliché. Arrows are OK as well, as long as not too cliché. Please present some logo options / branding where the word “GO” of the logo is a constant, but the rest of the word could change in the future for other options that the company will offer, such as GoShop, GoPay, etc.
