There are 72 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, the most recognizable being the psychoactive compound THC. Lesser known, are the 71 other cannabinoids, such as non-psychoactive CBD, that have shown promising signs of medicinal and therapeutic value. The cannabinoids live in what are called tricomes on the cannabis plant. To the naked eye, tricomes look like little sugar or frost on the cannabis flower, but up close they resemble little mushroom heads. During the plants life cycle, the tricomes are a translucent color, changing to milky color close to harvest before turning amber at harvest. The cannabinoids are the foundation for everything we'll do so it seemed like potentially a good place to start design wise. The main goal is to develop a professional, clean design that can act as a logo for the CTC that becomes easily recognizable/identifiable.
