Create a clean and exciting logo for an education site

YesCollege is a podcast discussing various topics in education, college life, and degree fields. Our target audience is prospective students interested in continuing their education or going back to school.

Our site has a dark blue (#24447b) background where the logo will be featured. We don't have specific colors the logo is required to use, but it should contrast well with that dark blue. Yellow and/or orange will likely be great picks.

The logos we like best are ones that communicate either the brand name or what the service does (or both!). Anything that integrates the idea of education, college, degrees, graduation, etc is fair game! While the logo should be simple and clean, we're after something that's also unique and exciting - to stand out and get people pumped about education! We're looking for a logo that's roughly a 3:1 ratio, so if it's 300 pixels wide, it should be roughly 100 pixels tall. For any winning design we select, we would also like a square version (for social media profiles) and a version for white backgrounds, but we're only judging the contest by the wide (3:1) versions.
