ddonohudb got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a classic bold style logo for a Vietnamese Coffee import company!

Food & Drink
We are importing Vietnamese Slow Drip Coffee. It is unique because of its use of the specific Vietnamese Filter as the brewing mechanism - and the coffee flavoring is dark rich and chocolatey.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Greens: Growth, harmony and success. Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
We would like to have a Vietnamese Slow Dripper shape or icon incorporated into the logo. A slight Asian influence would be nice, but not completely necessary. Browns, reds, yellows, and soothing colors are preferred. Attached pictures are a slow dripper and Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk being brewed - and a filter on its own. Thanks.

And then… they selected a winner!
The difficulty with this design was to express what "emperor of China" stands for - a luxurious asian buffet lunch and dinner. All packed in a modern designed logo, which is recognizable as a restaurant and can be understood at the first look. Kristanna was on the right path from the first time on, but always kept being creative and openminded for ideas and critics. Her fast respondance and working on many different versions on her own helped a lot in developing the logo-design - from the first contact to the last it was a professional work. Thanks for everything.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
