Good Dog Financial’s mission is to be the leading organization responsible for returning unclaimed property. Through innovation, communication and dedication, Good Dog swiftly identifies and returns property to the rightful owners.
The target audience is the highly mobile population like the military and employees of the government or large corporations in the United States.

We want the customer to be emotionally connected to Good Dog--to see us as a friend, devoted, and life-long companion. Imagine a playful dog like a Retriever or Scottie that runs off and comes back with money is his mouth in his mouth.
Originally we envisioned a cartoon-type logo and character, but it doesn't have to be. We would like to use the character (Good Dog) in different forms, so there will be follow-on work with the winning designer for the character involved in different actions i.e. character playing, spotting and begging.
"Good Dog" is the most important portion of the business name therefore "Financial" can be deemphasized in the logo if desired.
