epsteinmatthew got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create an amazing design for a Facial Surgery Practice in the Northwest!
Check out epsteinmatthew's Logo design contest…
Medical & Pharmaceutical
I am a young facial surgeon born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. This logo will represent my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Practice. My practice will be located in Seattle. The practice is across the street from Green Lake, a very popular city park with trees and a lake. My target audience is going to be other medical providers and a young techy/hip patient pool. My surgical practice includes facial reconstructive surgery, cosmetic facial surgery and trauma surgery of the face. I do NOT want anything representing dentistry/implants/teeth in this design. I will likely change the name of the practice to Green Lake Facial Surgery once my practice matures as I perform more cosmetic facial surgery. So we should also think of a design that could be adapted to remove "Oral &" down the road. I want you to be creative, I love design and I like the look of infographic-like logos and a clean look, although i am open to any ideas at all. Be creative! I am really excited to develop an amazing logo with you for your portfolio and my practice! As for the colors, looking for a pop of green in an otherwise, grey/dark logo. Please incorporate some cool fonts as exampled below. Thanks!
******A couple of notes:
Based on the color palate in the design brief I am looking for just a pop of green (very little), and mostly grey.
The design aesthetic of the office will be Mad Men meets the Pacific Northwest (Mid century furniture with warm reclaimed wood throughout the office). So I am not looking for a sterile "corporate" logo.
I very likely will not want the logo to include a face, its a little hokey.
You can include elements like the shape of Green Lake, trees, Mt Rainier, Space needle.
Please put some time into the font. There are lots of very unique ideas from dafont.com that I put an example of in the design brief.
