Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an investment management firm, targeting mid- to high-net worth individuals. We are rebranding to bring in a younger audience - those in late 20s to late 40s who have money but no time to deal with it. We are experts in mortgage-backed bonds and are marketing that expertise. Trying to show how bonds aren't just for those in retirement - they can be a lucrative and safe investment.

I am leaning toward primarily using a wordmark for the logo. Don't necessarily want or need a separate icon unless it integrates well without being stereotypical of the industry (e.g. bar graphs, arrows, etc.) Winning designer can expect more work.
