We need a cool, modern logo to appeal to young Soldiers

AUSA is the Army's professional association (non-profit membership organization, including individuals and other organizations). We are education-focused, hosting many events for an Army-supportive population (individuals and industry). AUSA products include podcasts, a magazine, scholarships, and other professional development. We have 120 chapters around the world offering local Soldier and Family community support. Our philosophy is Soldiers helping Soldiers. It is our vision to be recognized as the Army's premier association and foremost supporter of the Total Army. Visit our website at www.ausa.org. Target audience is Army: Active, National Guard, Reserve, Retiree, Veteran, Civilian, Families, and Military Contractors.
We'd like a logo that attracts a younger audience and Soldiers in general. We're looking for something cool, attractive, and modern (not futuristic, we're the Army not Space Force). We have a seal that we will still keep (our 99designs icon), but want something fresh as a logo. The Army does something similar and we are following suit. This new concept should focus on being Soldier-centric and emphasize the importance of legacy, teamwork, strength, courage, service, and leadership. For the logo, we'd like to see one of the attached images converted into an illustration/sillouette where it's obvious the image is of Soldier(s) but does not contain any gun or demographic details (gender, race, age). The logo color should mainly be a dark earthy green since we won't be changing our colors. The logo should also have no more than three Soldiers in the image, two preferred.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
