Moe did a wonderful job coming up with 4 or 5 original ideas as soon as the contest was opened up. He kept a close eye on the design progress, as many more designers joined in. He was not always the first to respond to a additional brief but after a prompt, he delivered. He demonstrated a good understanding of the product and its audience. The final track was excellent.

We are one of the leading ergonomic retailers on the web and in the Pacific Northwest. Our core philosophy is that movement and variation are key when you are working at a desk job. We sell desks, chairs, footrests, etc. to facilitate this working style.
Our biggest selling products are kneeling chairs and saddle chairs (like the HAG Capisco chair which is the "t" in our current logo). We are the largest and most knowledgeable company in the world regarding correct-posture sitting styles.
We also just launched our own line of adjustable height desks that allow users to push a button to adjust their worksurface height to stand part of the day, sit part of the day and "perch" part of the day. Standing up for at least some of the workday has been scientifically proven to improve blood circulation, increase productivity and even prolong your lifespan. We expect that the adjustable height desk category will become the largest part of our sales mix within the next year.
We are also very committed to selling environmentally friendly products. The plastic portion of our most popular chair is made of recycled car bumpers and the foam consists of recycled dashboards.

Our products are on the higher end of the price scale and appeal to users of a higher socioeconomic level. Our clients appreciate clean and modern design. They are also more concerned about their health and well-being than average consumers. Research also shows that our customers are concerned about the environment and the impact their purchases have on it.
We are looking for a logo that is clean and modern and somehow communicates what we are all about. Think contemporary, healthy, sustainable and chic all in one :-).
One of the primary uses of our logo will be as the banner on our website (http://www.ergodepot.com). Our pages have a clean, zen look and white background. The colors and font of the logo will dictate the style and feel of the text and menus on each page. You are free to use whatever color combination you would like in your submissions. However, the colors of the logo should be able to be used as readable text against a white background on the site.
And of course, please no clip art. We are very original and need our logo to be as well.
