I teach a mindfulness, emotional intelligence and neuroscience program to high performing startup companies. The program was developed at Google (ie credible) and is backed by solid science. So it's not hippy shit and needs to feel professional, contemporary and a tad playful. (that's the motif bit)

I want a simple graphic icon - a levitating polar bear - together with great typography. Why the bear? Because I've been to the North Pole to run a marathon and it's part of my brand story. But I don't want cutesy and the bear is more a motif than the main event. My name is my brand so the type treatment is key. I am focused on working with very clever, high performing people in the startup ecosystem. So please don't make this childlike. In that respect the polar bear reference attached is way too cute, the Dogster reference and combo of graphic and type is cooler, classier and more professional. The headline font on my website (in progress) is Libre Baskerville bold and text is Open Sans. The logo will need to work brilliantly in this context but it will likely use another font altogether.
