How natural_tea started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell all natural, micro-lot, single origin, loose leaf tea from tea farms all around the world. In other words, tea that has been grown with all natural cultivation methods (no chemicals) and is not mixed with tea from other farms, so you know exactly where your tea came from. Our target audience is anyone who enjoys tea, worldwide.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Let designers make suggestions:
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are really going against the grain of the tea industry by selling all natural tea and telling people exactly which farm the tea came from (along with information about the farmers). Since this is not usual in the tea industry, we would like our logo to represent this and to be a bit different from your usual, every day logo. The name "Conundrum Tea" comes from the founders favorite "all natural" place to go to in the outdoors which happens to be the Conundrum Hot Springs in the mountains of Aspen, Colorado. These hot springs are in the backcountry and they sit at the base of Condundrum Peak (a mountain). I want these mountains and hot springs to be the main part of the logo, it should be the exact mountain range in the photo below. I want the logo to tell the story behind the name of the company, if you want to incorporate a teacup or teapot into the design then it needs to flow with the mountains and not just be overlayed so it looks completely out of place. Keep in mind that I am not the least bit artistic or creative, so if you think of something that's more artistic or creative then go for it! See the attached photos to give you an idea of what these hot springs and mountains look like. The main qualification of this logo is it just needs to look really good. I want people to look at it and go, "Holy Cow, now THAT is a logo!"
