Need a compelling logo for an innovative nonprofit helping low-income residents

CEDP partners with low income and working people to build economic and racial equity. We do this by confronting economic abuse and investing in community wealth. We use an ever-evolving set of legal, economic and advocacy tools to challenge and dismantle unjust systems, building quickly towards a world where all people have what they need to live and thrive.

Our brand colors: maroon (#3F0D12), red (#A71D31), yellow (#FFA500), light blue (#6292A6), blue (#2D5F73), slate blue (#2C3F4D)

What we would like to have: shape(s) that are generic enough to span multiple disciplines, not just housing. Distinctive image that will make a strong favicon, strong black-and-white image for use in places like t-shirts, mugs, etc. Not too horizontal or vertical (ideally relatively square). Modern, but still friendly. Implies community, collaboration, connection. Concepts that are interesting to us: Hives or hubs Hexagons for their infinite connection The ability to break the logo apart - we have campaigns (like towing, or SB173), that will each get their own logos, going forward, we’d like to be able to use an element of our core logo (like a hexagon shape, for example), to connect those efforts to our core brand We would prefer not to use our company name, or initials in the logo
