Lunch-a-porter.com
I am a parent volunteer who spends way too much time counting coins during school chocolate bar fundraisers. Parents & their children no longer go door to door to sell items so in the end, parents are the ones who pay for a box of unwanted chocolates.
Instead, Lunch-a-porter is a fundraising website that will be selling 'waste-free lunch' products such as reusable containers, utensils, water bottles, etc. to schools and other groups interested in not just eco- friendly products but fundraisers that don't require many volunteers and man-hours.
Lunch-a-porter will display items, parents would buy items and automatically see how much of a profit is for the school. There would be a tally of how much the school is making. Deliveries would be made directly to the school or organization.
HOWEVER ... the site should be sporty, sexy not too eco and green.
Lunch a porter has two meanings: like pret a porter for designer clothes (designer lunch gear for the style conscious moms and kids) as well as 'bring your own lunch' gear for kids and adults.
Target market : schools at all levels, sports organizations, and all organizations in need of fundraising but in support of a good cause.
The cause here is being eco-friendly, cutting down on waste,
People who make the decision are mostly Parent organizations and governing boards of the organization.
HOWEVER, it is mostly the mothers who would buy these products. Half are looking for affordable but fun stuff to pack lunches and others are looking for the designer lunch gear because they want their kids to look cool.
the logo shouldn't be "eco" looking.
It is a website that sells 'waste-free' lunch items so yes, they are eco- friendly products, but also products with nice design and colors.
These are NOT 'tupperware' products ... the logo needs to be hip and fun - outdoorsy but classy.
the logo shouldn't be childlike, but nothing too elegant either.
we want to encourage parents to participate in the fundraiser by buying these products without the parents thinking they are overly priced.
the logo is for the website and will be used on some of our lunch products. for example water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. it will also be used on our letterhead, business cards, etc. It will be THE logo for the business.
