Bibibug is a great designer with a fine sense of graphical design and fonts. This latest project was a challenge because I needed a favicon (browser tab logo) which has to fit into a 16x16 pixel frame, too small for all but the simplest logo images. She was very patient in working through various ideas and experiments to accommodate the challenge.
How kathleenkahlon started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Chapter 2 Communications
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I'm a public relations consultant. I also work in crisis and issues management. Here are the kinds of things I do - work with media to promote an organization, media train spokespeople, coach executives on presentation style, produce marketing materials and write news releases and articles.
My target audience is mostly larger corporations--I've worked with many financial institutions and tech companies.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I like colour, and don't want black/grey (except for maybe the typography).
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the colours in this one.
Love the image of a carrier bird becoming more abstract.
Love the colour and the font type here.
Love the play on the V.
This logo is my favourite of the ones I have chosen. Love the arch and the font chose. Gorgeous.
Please note I've had to change my company name to Chapter 2 Communications. If you're new to this contest, you may see some designs with Kahlon Communications, but please disregard that name.
Even though my logo is for a corporate audience, it's REALLY important to know that I'm a bit more fresh and light than a corporation, so I want some sass in my logo (even if it just a small element) to bring my upbeat and positive personality in to it. While I'm a trusted partner when a company needs me most, I'm also a fun person to work with. Whether the 'sass' is in the colours used, or the overall design--it's up to you!
Though my day job is as a communications consultant, my hobbies are yoga and nutrition and I love bright and vibrant colours.
And since my company is me, and I am the brand, I want the logo to reflect who I am.
Edited to add: I'm not looking for any designs with a word bubble in it. That was my previous logo. Thanks!
