federico.tabellini got their new logo design by running a design contest:
We need a colorful logo for our online language school!
Check out federico.tabellini's Logo design contest…
We are an online language school (name of the school: Italiano pop). We teach Italian online. We will have a youtube channel and a website (not yet online). The logo will be used for both the website and the youtube channel, as well as for the social networks (facebook and instagram). What makes us different is that we will be using pop culture works (comic books, videogames, tv series, movies and, to a lesser extent, mainstream music and novels) as teaching devices. We want to teach Italian in an entertaining way. This will be done mostly through articles (on the website) and videos (on youtube). All the articles and videos are going to be educational. For example, we are not going to review videogames; rather, we are going to use them to teach something related to the italian Language. Same with movies, comic books etc. Through the articles and the videos we are going to promote our main product (online courses and classes of Italian). Our target is, of course, people who want to learn Italian.
We want a logo that delivers the idea of something fun and at the same time educational. We prefer bright colours. It would be nice to see some use of the double meaning of pop, as in 'pop culture' and something that 'pops out' (the following picture is only to point out what we mean with 'pops out'): https://previews.123rf.com/images/gritsalak/gritsalak1811/gritsalak181100010/115467919-pop-art-comic-speech-bubbles-vector-cartoon-illustrations-sticker-pop-wow-smash-pow.jpg We would also like a logo that is not overextended in one direction (vertically or horizontally). This is because it needs to look nice on the facebook and instagram pages and on the youtube channel, where the logo is to be contained in a circle frame.
