How MarkyMarko started their logo design journey
I am starting a coffee cart company that will sell gourmet specialty espresso coffee to people that don't have enough time to sit but still need a caffeine rush! The carts will be based primarily at the bottom of office buildings, universities and busy hospitals which have high foot thoroughfare. The company places a huge emphasis on timing ensuring that all customers receive their coffees within 90 seconds. Customer service also plays a huge role in the coffee industry that relies heavily on repeat clientele
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The main target audience will be busy people in the workforce that have little time to sit and chat They have the mentality that, "Time is Money". They will also have a higher income bracket as they are willing to spend more on specialty espresso coffee. They require a quality product and a service that exceeds expectations every time. They are willing to pay extra for organic / fair trade products.
The logo can be just text only - "Bean Rush" or it can include two coffee beans at the end of the text. I am flexible and up for suggestions and creativity. I would prefer if it included the bean graphics that they be realistic and classy... No clipart or cartoon like animation.
There must be an emphasis on "speedy / quick" on the word "Rush"... Either speed lines or something in motion. I definitely don't want anything tacky like a coffee cup with wheels screeching by!
The dominant colour I was originally thinking was blue but then changed my mind to brownish/maroonish. Up for suggestions.
The font is also undecided but up for creative suggestions.
Although the carts will be based in the USA, I am originally from Australia and would like to incorporate something small and Australian in the logo. Maybe a small flag or something that Americans conjure up when they think of Australia?!? If this is not possible or looks too tacky... no worries
I definitely prefer simplicity and something that portrays confidence. I look forward to seeing the designs... I can't wait! Feel free to ask any Q's
