About us
Nautilus is a highly configurable & modular web application used to manage scientific data. It is named after the sea creature: the "chambered nautilus".

We are currently redesigning our entire user interface to adopt a more modern, simple, clean experience. We want a logo which reflects the same values. As mentioned, the web application is named after the sea creature, the "chambered nautilus". However, the application itself has nothing to do with the ocean or biology, there is no nautical theme. Please avoid waves or other oceanic concepts. Idea: The nautilus is noted for reflecting the "golden ratio" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_spiral), perhaps a subtle play on that could be nice. Note: In general, we want to avoid logos that are JUST of the letter "n" as that is a bit commonplace.
