Clandestine Brewing needs a new logo

... the secret is out.
Food & Drink
Clandestine Brewing is a nanobrewery in San Jose, CA. We produce craft beer and have an onsite tasting room. The target audience includes everyone who enjoys great beer.
Logo types to explore
Some possible theme ideas are undercover / spy / secret ops, but not required. Slogan is optional, too. Updated 2012-09-05... General info: While we like the potential use of barley and hops (leaves or flowers) in the logos, we feel that barrels and mugs/steins are not in the direction we wish to go. The clean, crisp, straight fonts of Hangar 24 and Summit are preferable to the rounded nature of the font from FirestoneWalker. Sample logos: Reasoning behind our sample logo selections... Hangar 24 - We like the crisp clean fonts used. The scripted location is a nice extra touch. Overall, this logo mixes the traditional barley stalks with an aircraft aluminum plate creating a design appearing like pilots wings, very much in keeping with the name. Surly - A boldly colored logo with some levity. The two sides showing the empty glass and surly drinker vs. the full glass and happy drinker. We like this design because it is fun but also has some attitude to match the brewery itself. Summit - a traditional sort of logo with clean lines and mixing in the ingredient elements of barley and hops. Track 7 - Another one chosen because the elements of the logo are applicable to the name and theme of the place. Stone - This, to us, is an iconic craft brewery. Their name is simple, and shown boldly. Their gargoyle logo is memorable. Black Raven - We like the dark, somber coloring and the imagery that matches the name FirestoneWalker - We like that this logo symbolizes the roots of this brewery in their family and wine backgrounds, but do not think this is the style we are looking for.
