Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I own a birth doula business (with childbirth education and lactation support). Birth doulas assist a woman (and partner) in labor with emotional, physical, and informational support. I live in New York City, and my target audience is educated, upper-middle to upper-class profession couples in their childbearing years (28-42). My clients hire me because I am knowledgeable about giving birth in an urban hospital setting. I am caring, non-judgmental, and supportive of their choices.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

My first thought, was to incorporate an owl and city themes into the logo, but that might be too obvious and complicated. In my mind's eye, there was a stylized owl with outstretched wings (maybe the wings curling in, sort of "embracing", if you get my drift), with a subtle city skyline worked into the underside feathers/feet? Maybe there is some inspiration out there for something clean and not too "busy" with that in mind (geared toward sophisticated New York City clients, soon to be parents), but I'm not married to the idea and open to other themes. Thanks for your help!
