We are a private Christian school (pre-K through 12th grade). Our ideal design will reflect our both our Christian faith and our academics.
We are a 40-year-old school that is moving to a new building in the fall of 2017, so this new logo is a bit of a rebranding effort that would communicate both the stability of an established institution, as well as a fresh, “looking ahead” mentality, as we embrace the future.
In our initial thoughts, we find ourselves drawn to some derivative of a school crest (as it clearly identifies as a school), but if we went this route, we desire a fresh and more modern crest, not an “old school” look. And while the crest idea appeals to us, we are open to other, non-crest designs as well, as long as something in the design points to our school identity.
We desire a logo that is graphic only and can appear next to the name of our school.
Target audience is Christian parents roughly 25-45 with upper middle class or better income.
