ChocolateFest - http://www.ChocolateFest.com
ChocolateFest was founded 24 years ago in Burlington, WI as a festival to celebrate the great city of Burlington, WI - its area businesses and residents alike. The festival takes place each year over the long Memorial Day weekend and includes activities such as a full-blown carnival with rides and food to World-Reknown Chocolate Chef demonstrations and Fine Chocolate and Wine tastings. ChocolateFest is a completely volunteer organization - from the ticket-takers at the front gate to the board of directors - no one person receives any compensation for their time or effort. Instead, ChocolateFest donates its proceeds to over 65 local charities, non-profit groups and youth programs to give back to our wonderful community.
Everyone in the Southeastern Wisconsin / Northeastern Illinois area - adults and children alike.
Pay no attention to our existing logo and colors - we are looking for a brand new design - a new "Brand" if you will - to take the place and to build around and incorporate into our new website design (which has not been implemented yet) as well as all forms of advertisement from Banners, Newspaper Print, Flyers, Brochures, TV and Video! As such, the logo designed must look great in any size - from the size on a business card or letterhead to a 200 foot banner being flown behind an airplane over the festival. Incorporate all ideas of festivals, carnivals, family, excitement - and most importantly - CHOCOLATE!!! If the logo design incorporates the word ChocolateFest, it must be able to be excluded and still portray the message. Again, we are looking for a new BRAND here - something easily recognizable - similar examples of such work can be found at http://www.SummerFest.com - the big smiley/earphones looking logo is very recognizable not only locally but nation-wide. The design must be eye-catching enough to be noticed while driving down the road at 65 MPH and be instantly identifiable. More to come...
