unshankar got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Chicago Garage Seeks Logo
Check out unshankar's Logo design contest…
ChicagoGarage.Org seeks a full color logo for its car forum. The design should be clever with the words and design.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Lets Drive Desired Color Scheme: Steel / Black / Ice Blue / Steel Blue / open to suggestions Desired Style: Intricate / Detailed / Full Color Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) What I am thinking is to have the words ChicagoGarage.Org in a circular perimiter of something round (not tire) and a Garage door open 3/4 to almost all the way (so u can see its a garage door) with a shadow of the 2009 Corvette ZR1 (vaguely seen in an outline) with its Xenon Headlights shining straight a head at the viewer) - As if the car was about to pull out ... Just one car, in a dark rectangular garage. The headlights should appear with a hint of purple/blue to depict its HID headlights. The outline should be of this car.. http://images.motortrend.com/features/auto_news/2008/112_0802_26z+2009_chevrolet_corvette_ZR1+front_view.jpg The words ChicagoGarage.Org should be in a steel / block lettering with rivets in each letter to make it look like it was bolted steel / tough looking. The design should look intricate/detailed. I am open to other Ideas as well if its clever with the words. Clever meaning if the garage in embedded in the words some how. The image should be realistic like photo quality very similar to this carrera gt http://www.kozmanautos.com/benlj.htm but coming from a garage of a house of some sort..Â
