Charter School of the Dunes

At Charter School of the Dunes, little things can add up to something great.

Like a sand dune that forms year-after-year with thousands of grains of sand, students grow by the experiences they accumulate.

We believe minds can thrive within an environment of a trustworthy and loyal community. We believe that we’re better students, teachers, faculty, and parents when we stay curious, ask intelligent questions, persevere, and communicate. We believe that in this environment, every student can find a place to connect, belong, and achieve more.

We’re student-focused and growth-minded, but it’s not all about the students. We expect participation from parents and faculty alike. Parental choice, involvement, and collaboration with faculty all serve to strengthen our students, and shape them into the people we hope they become.

Together, we combine the power of community with personalized educational experiences. Through instructional strategies and extra-curricular activities, we create a stimulating educational environment that transforms students into life-long learners with a growth mindset. One-by-one, we’ll develop learners who seek opportunities to benefit the communities in which they live, work and play.

I'm also attaching our school mascot, the Trailblazer. A Trailblazer is a person who blazes a trail for others to follow through unsettled country or wilderness; pathfinder. a pioneer in any field of endeavor.
