Alex from Efimov Design did an amazing job and was a complete pleasure to work with. He made the changes I requested and his logo was the best among several other nice designs in the competition.
Asaad is AMAZING. I have worked with some of the most expensive designers in the world when I worked in beauty at a large CPG company and I'm continually impressed with Asaad's work quality and commitment to go above and beyond to get it right ... for a client with extremely high standards (me). You won't feel like you wasted even a dime when you work with Asaad!

Always a pleasure. Work is A1 and he's always there to accommodate changes and fixes, even if they are drastic. Can't say enough about the quality of work and service.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a guy creating a food and lifestyle blog (and soon to be podcast) promoting simple country-style living, tasty cooking and good design. Our visitors will come for recipes and advice on cooking and simple living. We will also feature stories on country-style decorating and DIY projects. Recipes will be at least half of the website content. The logo will be used on the website and in podcast image.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Looking for earth tones, grays, or colors associated with food and the country-side. Bright colors are probably not good, but may work if used sparingly.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the textured feel of the image. Not crazy about the angular text shapes.
I like the sepia color tones. The image is detailed without feeling too busy. I like that.
I like the colors and the overall feel of the logo. The font is not my taste.
Not sure how to describe what I like. The image gives me a heavy feeling. That could work well for a cast iron skillet in a similar style.
This is one of the simpler designs that I like.
This logo gives me a turn-of-the-century feel that I think could work for our logo.
Simple and the fonts are great. Seems like it would work well on the blog/website.
In general, this is a logo I like. The fonts are in the right style. The line drawn feeling of the image might work also.
I like the borders and colors of this image. But borders are optional, as you can see from other logos I like.
The imagery of a cast iron skillet and small country cottage is meant to convey the idea of country cooking and simple living. However, the logo does not need to incorporate both images, or maybe neither. Be creative. The logo should reproduce well in B/W. Finally, I'm a guy, so the logo should not be feminine, but should appeal to women since they will be my primary audience. See PDF for more inspiration. SLOGANS: Many of the sample logos I've shared include taglines, slogans or dates (like Est. 2017). I have not included any in my request, but if you think the logo would look better with a slogan or tagline, please make up something you think might fit. If you are a finalist, I will give you a final slogan to work with.
