"Chaisin' Tails to Drilling Wells"- Translation Chaisin tails- fishing reference usually to Redfish and drilling wells is oil wells. (This wont be used on most of the logos but possibly some decals and such)
Company will produce performance products for three main categories, listed below. Our niche will be utilizing (3) different camouflage patterns targeting these categories individually by incorporating elements from each into the camo patter (ex. tools, gas mask etc into workwear pattern while utilizing a redfish, boat, etc into the fishing category). Workwear- gloves, hard hats, safety products, apparel and more Fishing- gloves, sun protection, apparel and more Hunting- gloves, apparel, and more. Target Market Our initial focus will be on oilfield workers (roughnecks, pipeliners, welders and so on) by developing products that appeal to them in their worklife and their hobbies. The oilfield is not just a job to these guys but a way of life. The vast majority of the field is also into hunting, fishing, offroad, etc which is what ties them together. The majority of fisherman I know work in the industrial or oilfield and the same goes for hunters. 1. Workwear- Oilfield workers, Industrial personnel, mechanics, contractors. 2. Fishing- All fisherman but main focus on saltwater anglers, Boaters 3. Hunting- Hunters and offroad enthusiast As for the logo design, I want something that will work across these three categories. Each category will have its own camouflage pattern but the logo will be the same. My initial thought was to also have some sort of symbol that represents the brand which I intend on using for printing on hats and so forth. This could be done using elements out of each category, the letter C & F or feel free to run with it.
Logo types to explore
Most of the patterns we are working on have a small amount of "dark" flare to it. I wouldnt go as far to say it falls into the "zombie" category but that general direction. I do not want anything that looks even remotely "cartoon" like. To name a few popular brands to reference the markets: (not necessarily the logo) Hooey, oilfield trash, mechanix, carhart, Wrangler, Pelagic, Simms, Glacier, Kryptek, Yeti, Redzone apparel, Flood Tide Co., Primos, Drake, Beretta. Type in "tactical logo" in google under images and many of those look good.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
