I am a luxury hair stylist that specializes in extensions and color. My Target clients live in a very expensive Beach town in california and enjoy a laid back but luxurious lifestyle. My brand colors are soft neutrals you would find at the beach, my salon accents include coral reef, rattan cabinets, shiplap walls, camel leather chairs with throw pillows etc. My logo will also hang on a large driftwood accent wall. I have attached a mood board and color palette I'm using. I would like to stay away from black and gold colors and focus on softer blush/taupe/beiges/champagne or rose gold. Here is a link to a pdf in canva for a mood board https://www.canva.com/design/DAE9TaHx3Ks/iHcDNZIm3z5fawu0TomM3w/edit?utm_content=DAE9TaHx3Ks&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton I also added the link below. I hope that helps inspire some ideas. I love the magazine Sarena & Lily and feel like that also fits my Target market and branding.
I was thinking the logo could have Beach in a handwritten or script type font and Beauty in a capital or type font and underneath smaller "Luxury Hair". I have attached some "b"s i liked in the PDF above. I'm open to something organic like a wave or palm leaf but I would I don't want a face or anything too literal. Maybe the line(s) that mimic waves or palm leaves and make it maybe larger in the background in a much lighter color so its subtle but looks luxurious? or skip the lines? I'm looking to see what you come up with. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Cit came up with some really innovative design ideas. She took our brief and created what we thought we wanted but then suggested some different ideas which were even better and perfect for our brand - giving us exactly what we needed! She was really responsive with our feedback and nothing was too much trouble - despite our many tiny tweaks! Thank you - AMAZING! The more we look at the logo the more we love it.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
