Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This will be the logo for a new ophthalmology magazine we are launching. We cover eyeballs - our logo can have a nod to eyes but it doesn't necessarily need to be the focus of the logo. I is no way a baking magazine; we just like the acronym; we've decided to steer clear of any explicit bakery imagery. We are described as "The world's first funky ophthalmology magazine". so playful is definitely ok. You can check out the sister magazine (PIE magazine) at: piemagazine.org. The target audience is a grabbag of doctors, businesses and many others, but (as you can see in our other magazine) we don't have a too serious take on it all, even though we are in healthcare.

We've included our pre-99design draft of what we thought Cake's logo could look like; just putting up for inspiration, though we are happy to see designs that are very different. Also, here is the sister magazine, but feel free to have variation with the design, it doesn't need to look just like the "pie" logo.
