Thank you so much for the design for my logo. It is simple, clean, just what I wanted. It will be used for years to come. Thank you for doing all that I asked you to do, even though I went with the first design after all. :)
Exactly what i wanted. Great service.

How trondeau started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
The free & open software radio ecosystem
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
GNU Radio is a development platform for building communications
systems (radio, wireless networks, cellular/mobile communications, etc). It
allows us to process and manipulate wireless signals for almost any
purpose. It is used by engineers in industry and academia for both research and
development of new communications systems.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are looking to update the current logo, which is very simplistic in font and style (don't even know where it came from but has been with the project for probably 10 years). When discussing, we came back to the Archlinux logo as an example that we liked, especially in that GNU is a larger project and GNU Radio is a part of that. The simple separation of Arch and Linux in that logo had an appeal to this sense.
We are also looking at this logo as a representation of the entire GNU Radio project - the ecosystem. Within that, we have other parts, like the GNU Radio framework, which is the software itself, or the GNU Radio Working Groups. It would be nice to have the tag-line with ecosystem to be somewhat malleable that we can build other logos for these different pieces.
The image uploaded as a basic suggestion for the logo image as it loosely represents what we call a 'flowgraph' in the software. It should be taken with a very liberal interpretation as a suggestion.
Last item. The ampersand in the slogan may look better being spelled out. It'd be nice to see both options.
