Design should convey vigor, performance and health ("goodness"). Should not be edgy or garish. If possible, weave in a Spanish-influenced design element or elements.
Buenergia must be easy to read Buenergia™ is the brand, the most important part of the artwork.
Can not be derivative of any other brand. For example, must not bring too much to mind Red Bull (its bull and circle logo) or Gatorade (e.g. Gatorade-esque lightning bolt) or Tecate cerveza. NO MORE BULLS UNLESS PART OF A BULLFIGHTING MOTIF OR ABSOLUTELY CLEARLY COULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH ANYTHING REMOTELY SIMILAR TO RED BULL---or unless they're really, really great bulls (which some designs-already-submitted are!)
Regardless... the consumer must be able to quickly read and absorb the brand name, Buenergia.
Please try to stick to the logo and "Buenergia™" word. Please do not design cans or use other models .
ALSO... PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ARTWORK IS ORIGINAL. We can't use work that you didn't create, because of copyright issues. Unfortunately, we've already discovered a number of entries that were directly lifted from other brands, from clip art sites, etc... Thanks! :-)
(NOTE: 5-8-2014. IMAGINE A CUSTOMER WALKING INTO A STORE TO GRAB AN ENERGY DRINK... WILL THIS DESIGN CALL THEIR ATTENTION AND MAKE THEM WANT TO DRINK IT?)
