BrushPasser Logo: Hide secret messages inside images

A brush pass is what spies do when exchanging information in public. BrushPasser uses a technique called steganography to embed a secret message inside an image that can be posted somewhere like social media. I'd prefer the logo to be simple but recognizable. I'd like variations that could be an app logo (so square) as well as ones for a web app and marketing materials.

I'd like variations where a white logo could be placed on a dark background and look nice (or vice versa with a dark logo on a white background). I'm open to color suggestions. I'd prefer a modern look that's more abstract, but unique. I'd prefer fewer colors so it's less "busy." I've attached a couple of mock-ups of ideas to get the juices flowing, but please feel free to take liberties or go in a different direction.
