david+bg got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Breaking Grounds Coffee logo - Great Coffee Without Pretense
Check out david+bg's Logo design contest…
Food & Drink
Great coffee without pretense. We're a small town coffee shop crafting high quality third-wave coffee and espresso within a broader menu meant to have a little something for everyone, including hot or iced loose leaf tea and a variety of coffee and non-coffee blended drinks.
Other color requirements
Color scheme for the shop is planned to be a shade of Navy, with neutral brown/grey and medium-dark brown wood, but suggestions/creativity is welcome.
We're looking for a logo that isn't super commercial looking and communicates great, third-wave coffee without being too hipster-y. We're much bigger fans of flat, relatively simple designs than anything skeumorphic. Preferably something that is one color or can be one color on print material. "Est. 2017" is welcome if it fits the design, but not required. Other than that, we're pretty open to suggestions and creativity and any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing all of your concepts and finding the perfect logo for our shop! Additional Info: We're really trying to steer away from anything to "generic" - Google Imaging "Coffee Shop Logo" will yield mostly results that show exactly what we're not looking for. Modern with character, a bit of a traditional/artisanal look can look good but isn't required. We're not looking to get too busy/crazy.
