daniel.neeleman got their new logo design by running a design contest:
BRAZI bag logo
Check out daniel.neeleman's Logo design contest…
At BraziBag we make rugged leather bags, totes, and backpacks. We create bags that will last a lifetime and get better with age. A family heirloom. We are looking to brand our bags in a way that could make them discernable to people walking by, without taking away from the pure beauty of the simple leather bag. We dont use many buckles, zippers, or other bells and whisltes. The bags have a very clean and simple, masculine, natural look. We found our leather while living on assignment in Brazil and import the leather from there to the US today. We plan to use a family blog of our two founding members to be the face of the product. Weaving together parenthood and the utilitiy of good leather bags. We have bags for children and adults. Our target audiences are 35 and under. people with kids and college and High schoolers.
We are looking for a logo to put on our leather bags. We want something that isnt overbearing or large, but catchy and recognizable. The logo has to look good on dark brown and black leather. We dont hate the idea of colors. Maybe our logo is discrete and we put some red thread on the handles or zippers of the bags. We are just wanting to find a way to brand the bags and make them catchy. We imagine the logo being in a corner to not take away from the bag itself. This is very expensive leather and we need the leather to be the main show. We want a logo that is SIMPLE but catches the eye. Some basic guidelines would be to not be afraid to use color, whether that incorporates colors from the brazilian flag or something completely from left field like neon colors we are currently open to ideas, but neutral is great as well. If you are to use images please limit them to images that would be directly linked to brazil's landmarks or culture. That being said, an image is not necessary. Also, if you are to use an animal please limit to usage of bulls because our leather comes directly from brazilian bulls. We want a logo that speaks to a variety of people and age groups that is hip and clean. More on the masculine side. some words that come to mind when thinking of Brazi Bag products: masculine, heirloom, family, fatherhood, motherhood, travel, home, adventure, simple, sleek, style, raw, natural, useable, real. We also are drawing from the Brazil theme so we wouldn't be opposed to using the colors or design of the brazilian flag."
