Brand yourself: a 99designs' community contest

Working as a graphic designer in the contemporary design world, you have to be able to represent yourself as a brand. The first step to this personal branding is establishing your own logo. You can use your logo as your user icon on 99designs, on your own personal website, or on any social media outlets you use, so it should be simple and easy to adapt for different purposes. It's important to make yourself stand out - you want to bring a client's attention to you, your work, and your style. Not sure how to get started? We want to see that your designs have meaning and represent you, so please include some sort of explanation with your submissions so we know what you're trying to achieve. That way we'll be able to help by critiquing and giving meaningful comments on your work. We recommend that your design fit into the space of a square - that way you can easily convert it into an icon! For example, it would need to size down to 75 by 75 pixels to fit as your user icon on 99designs. The designs will be judged on execution, originality, and the designer's ability to capture their personal message in the design. We will be taking the community's opinion into consideration in choosing the winners. We'll run a poll at the end of the contest which will be a part of what helps us determine a winner - and we'll be awarding multiple winners! Even if you don't win the contest, you can use your brand new logo to represent yourself! Everybody wins :)
