Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a licensed recreational cannabis grower and breeder in Oregon. We plan to reach a wide segment of consumers of flower and extract and other growers through sales of seeds and clones. Our goal is to have a timeless, classic brand identity that is not cannabis specific or trend driven.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We have a vision of our logo but are open to interpretations and innovations from designers.
We are envisioning a logo that fits well on a small circular sticker, as much of our packaging will require. A generally round or oval shape with visual elements extending outside of and adding interest to the circle is preferred.
We would like to incorporate the outline of a dog's nose in the logo based on our brand identity which focuses heavily on the sense of smell. I have attached a visual of that outline as a start. I have no rights to that image.
Our mascot Blue, is a blue tick hound. He may or may not be a part of the logo.
The mood we are going for is updated traditional or vintage/retro. Suitable with flannel. Similar to branding one might see on liquor especially whiskey or gin brands. We are envisioning using plaid as accents in our packaging but not on the logo. We would prefer a single color logo and would like the option of printing it in black or white or silver depending on the packaging used. If that's possible. We would also like to translate the logo to a 3D design with wooden signs in the future.
We will need more design help with packaging in the future. We are hoping to develop a relationship with a designer for that future work.
