mrdenizates got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Boxing logo for a personal trainer appealing to fitness enthusiasts

I am a personal trainer who specialises in boxing fitness classes. My clients enjoy learning punch combinations on the pads. I teach these combinations in patterns, it gets intense, and it’s a lot of fun. My audience is mainly people who love boxing as part of their fitness routine, and who are not necessarily competing athletes. They are mainly adults, interested in fitness, living a healthy lifestyle, and who enjoy a hard workout. My objective with the logo is to communicate visually that the service is padwork (or mittwork) because this is what my audience loves the most. Padwork is where boxers practice punch combinations with a coach. The boxer gets their gloves on and the coach is wearing pads (or mitts). My padwork begins with simple punches that progressively get longer and more complex, including blocks, head movement, and footwork . The struggle of learning the combinations, the persistence to get it right, and the thrill of accomplishment, are the sorts of emotions they feel during the workout. These are the sorts of emotions I want to convey through the logo. Concepts that my audience will resonate with are skill, speed, precision, timing, coordination, power, hard work, and excellence, not to mention enjoyment and confidence. Question: How can the logo communicate thrill of boxing fitness training in a way that is simple and easily recognisable? Imagery worth considering: 1) Boxing glove 2) Boxing pad / mitt 3) The letter P

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
mrdenizates collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 2 winners!
My design looks professional. What I like about it is that it fits the specifications I set for the logo.
If anything could be done better for next time, it would be to not only fulfil the brief and improve upon previous designs, but also to go beyond the brief and ignore previous designs. This is because a brief can always be improved and strict reference to previous designs can limit creativity.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
