I created Anthea Skincare almost 5 years ago, with an intent to share my knowledge of wild harvested and specially cultivated botanicals and how these ingredients naturally benefit your skin and inner wellbeing. I create skincare products and wellness tinctures.
I am in the process of rebranding to create a more sophisticated, high end and professional look. Until this point I have done all the design work myself in Illustrator, but I would now like to hire someone to take care of all my design needs so that I can focus on my first love – formulating new products.
In addition to botanicals I harvest myself near my home in the central Rocky Mountains and plants I grow in my organic garden, I source all my ingredients as close to home as possible. Over 90% of my ingredients are organic, they are all ethically sourced, and Anthea Skincare is certified cruelty free by the Leaping Bunny international program.
Because I source many ingredients myself and process them from my home studio, I can only make so much of each product. When you use an Anthea Skincare product, you are experiencing something truly unique.
My target audience is women and men from ages 20 – 55, who are health conscious, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and are good environmental stewards. All my packaging is glass, and I do not use unnecessary packaging such as boxes.
My ideal client is female, late twenties to early thirties, sophisticated, lives in an urban environment working a well paying job that she enjoys, gets out on weekends to explore nature, loves to travel and experience new things, keeps herself healthy and fit, buys only cruelty free and organic beauty products, checks ethical standards of clothing companies before making purchases, reads and keeps abreast of current events, and enjoys the luxury of taking good care of herself.
I view my ideal client as buying from companies such as Herbivore Botanicals, Amala, Monastery Made, Kypris, May Lindstrom, and other higher end organic brands. My price point is mid to high, and I would like my logo and packaging to reflect a level of sophistication and uniqueness.
