Bar & Nightclub
Black Bag provides bar service--especially high-end cocktails--for private events, like secret dinner parties, after-parties, pop-up nightclubs, destination events, etc. We do a consultation with the host, then prepare a menu, source the supplies, build the bar, run service, and finally strike everything. The name "Black Bag" is an homage to Cold War-era intelligence tradecraft wherein an operative executes his agenda silently and invisibly; we want to feel entirely intrinsic to the events we support. An effective Black Bag job is one that appears as if nothing out of the ordinary happened. It also speaks to the nature of the events we work, which are typically by invitation only. Our work is expensive, so we would probably be considered a luxury brand, but we don't project ourselves too much. This artwork should be suitable for a very small website and some nice cards.
Logo types to explore
Thanks for the submissions so far. Based on what I've seen, PLEASE: * No backward Bs: ABBA killed it. * No cocktail (Martini) glasses: we don't serve them, and they're cliche. * Definitely no cutlery: we make drinks, not food. -- I am especially interested in a wordmark that might contain a discreet image, i.e., one that is not immediately apparent, hidden-in-plain-sight. Particularly relevant symbols are lock & key, and bar spoons and other barware (e.g., https://www.cocktailkingdom.com/AG-Trident-Barspoon-31-5cm-Stainless-p/bsp_tridentxxx_0315_stl.htm.) Some inspiration might come from anti-Soviet propaganda, intelligence community iconography (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/42/US_Intelligence_Community_members.gif) I've attached an image with a dark, desaturated palette and some neat negative space.
