BlueTurtle
BlueTurtle is a new company that is directing its efforts on raising awareness about and working towards the elimination of PLASTIC marine debris, specifically in the North Pacific Gyre known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. BlueTurtle will be focused on education, source elimination and cleanup of our oceans and beaches.
Our target demographics includes just about anybody concerned with the environment, plastic pollution, endangered species impacted by it (i.e. turtles, albatrosses, etc). Logo MUST be designed to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible.
Design should have two components:
1. a UNIQUE and DISTINCTIVE logo image of a sea-turtle communicating our mission (see overview).
2. a UNIQUE and DISTINCTIVE logo for the brand name “BlueTurtle” (the two words must be physically written as one with a design solution clearly discerning the two, whether by capitalization or some other effect). Font, size, alignment, orientation, placement and color(s)/shade(s) should all be primarily in the function of communicating our mission.
The design should be clean, simple, effective, attention-grabbing and instantly communicate our mission to any viewer, regardless of their age, sex, language, geographic location - whether they are interested in and/or sympathetic to our mission or not.
NOTE: If a design gives our test audience any association to any existing corporate heraldics (JetBlue, for example), your design will not be appropriate.
