Mogeek is the absolute best designer that I have ever worked with. I am a very difficult and demanding client and expect only the very best. He exceeded my expectations in every way. By the time we were done, I felt guilty not paying him more. If you have the good fortune of being accepted as a client by this designer, you should run, not walk, as fast as you can toward his work!
How jraines started their logo design journey
I need a contempary logo for a small consulting firm I am building a website for. Orange/blue scheme, needs to look good on a webpage or business card. Needs to include the company name.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Basically this logo needs to have a deep blue / red-orange main color scheme. Those don't have to be the only colors, but that's the overall color scheme.
Go to the website -- the logo will go in the top header so it needs to be large and bold, but also iconic. You don't have to use the colors of the website, but it would be helpful if you provided the approximate Hex color codes for the dominant colors you use so I can tweak the design of the page if necessary.
Client wants a contemporary look, with circles incorporated. So maybe a flame inside a circle, or several circles (balls of fire maybe?). The icon should be to the left of the company name.
The client is a consulting firm that brings in talent and organizes events for Atlanta's Spanish-language community. So if you have some idea of how to give a Latin feel to a contempory, iconic logo for a consulting firm, go for it. If not, don't worry about it. I personally can't envision what that would look like; but that's why I'm on this site!
- Iconic, contemporary logo.
- I like the logo for the 9rules network, for an example
- Too busy to look good on a business card
- Retro or "vintage" look
