Bizz Buzz
Similar to websites like Groupon.com, Spreets.com.au, Cudo.com.au, LivingSocial.com etc, our platform will offer greatly discounted deals, over a short set period, targeting small to medium sized businesses. However, unlike the previously mentioned companies (which typically offer beauty, dining and leisure based coupons), our platform aims to sell products and services to business decision makers. Products and services may include:
· Business consumables and equipment i.e. stationary, kitchen products, furniture etc;
· Business services i.e. search engine optimisation, deliveries, websites etc;
· Advertising products;
· Staff focussed gifts, events and education programs.
HOWEVER. We don't want to be perceived purely as a DEALS website. In addition to providing products/services at incredible discounts, we want Bizz Buzz to act as a GUIDE for businesses. For instance, if the current deal is office furniture (or logo creation!), we will research, review and document why the provider we are offering our deal through is the best choice.
We will build a large email database of:
Small to Medium sized businesses: 0-200 employees.
These will predominantly be made up of the following types of business:
Professional services, Finance businesses and other white collar businesses. Beyond this, we target any company with employees that could be attracted to the types of products and services I have listed previously. This could be quite broad.
A mind blowing design :).
I love these types of logos:

We want something we can create a brand around. If possible, we also want the brand to reflect the offerings and operations of our business.
With the two B's and two sets of ZZ's in the name, we are confident that some cool, creative stuff could be designed around this name. Their are also a number of ways the word buzz could be played upon: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/buzz
The use of a bee/wasp/bee hive/honeycomb/buzzing metaphors (and other metaphors) are fine. We would LOVE to see some witty/clever use of concepts/metaphors or/and clever interplay between the letters.
We could have one of two types of logo:
- Clean, bold, simple but effective:
Eg1: http://99designs.com/logo-design/co…ers/300080
Eg2: http://99designs.com/logo-design/co…ers/281282
- A more complex, impressive use of design/metaphor:
Eg1: http://99designs.com/logo-design/co…ers/281282
Eg2: http://99designs.com/logo-design/co…ers/300080
Either style would need to create a brand that our target market would respond well to and would HAVE to relate to our name or service.
Example bee logo's: http://www.google.com.au/images?hl=…31&bih=688
The combining of the letters i and u into the one letter has not been working in the current designs.
Despite offering great discounts, we don't want to look tacky or cheap. We need businesses to TRUST us.
Most importantly though, we want whoever has a go at this to open their mind wide open. If you have something we haven't thought of or suggested then go for gold!
Thanks people
