We sell avian husbandry products to conservation organizations, universities, and zoos. Our target audiences are biologists, and conservation/breeding facilities.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
Greens and blues are good. I love black, but I think that's a tougher sell unless the logo design is exceptional.

Other notes
We want a logo that incorporates a stylized bird into the design somehow. Should look professional rather than cute. I like the idea of having a bird image transposed over a compass rose, perhaps pointing northwest. See attached files.
