I am an entrepreneur, husband, father, disciple of Christ, direct sales coach, public speaker, and real estate investor. Be sure to look at http://www.MrJMassey.com. I am serious when it comes to faith, family, and business, but I like to have fun. I do not naturally like to wear suits, and value freedom highly. I started my real estate investing career AFTER going through a personal foreclosure, and many other trials. Therefore, I accept no excuses and only performance. I'm looking to convey likable, trustworthy, and respect at the same time. Not sure if this helps, but I am avid Apple Computer fan and user.
Please show me the logos on stationery, envelopes, business cards, favicon, and the small icon as a bookmarked page and as used on a blog banner. Yes, I do real estate but that doesn't mean the logo has to have something real estate related. I'm also a public speaker and direct sales coach, father, husband, and the additional qualities of being those things are part of my USP.
Some of the main themes to be communicated are:
A prosperous future
and personal growth
My audience are those looking for personal development, real estate investing education, rental and/or investment property, or even those looking to purchase notes. I work in multiple states and I have worked mostly with individuals who have a retirement plan and have helped them purchase real estate or do a real estate deal in their retirement plan. So I've worked a lot with the first time or novice investors. They are usually later 20s and up in age, and have an eye on their future or building wealth. I would have an similar audience as Jeff Adams, Robert Allen, Dani Johnson, and Anthony Robbins.
The most important note about this audience is to understand the vision of TheCashFlowDiary.com. This website will be a blog ultimately contributed to by many authors all of whom have one thing in common. They practice what they preach and they are willing to prove it by posting their monthly cashflow from their passive investments like real estate, notes, apartments, dividend paying stocks, royalties, licensing, franchising, etc. To me this means my audience will be opportunity seekers and also those in the process of making it happen for themselves and looking for a place of working wisdom.
This Logo is to represent my vision and passiong for creating a lifestyle where the amount of money earned is inversely proportional to the amount of hours worked. And I'm hoping to finally land on something that will become the center of everything. This Logo will eventually be used on my blog, twitter, facebook, etc...
I like sharp, but not gaudy.
I like modern, but not abstract.
I like color, and it should grab an emotion.
I'm also definetly looking for something that incorporates a symbol or graphic that can become synonymous with the brand. Like Apple has the Apple, Nike has the Swoosh, I'd like either the name or the logo to be able to stand alone and together.
It has to look good and well defined in black in white or color.
Please feel free to experiment with colors, typestyle, juxstaposition!
The files we will require are:
Print and Web/Online
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
Additionally if you look at http://MrJMassey.com you will notice a darker color scheme. I'm looking for the colors that communicate possibility, overcoming adversity, perserverance, integrity, character, faith, hope, determination, victory, humility, and abundance.
Please also be aware that this logo will be used on a wordpress template shown here: http://www.studiopress.com/demo/news.html
I am looking for a lighter color scheme and something that could make a good favicon, logo on a hat or t-shirt as well.
Please be aware that I am only asking for a logo for the blog. At most I am expecting to be able to use it as a logo online and as a favicon. I mentioned the other design places (twitter, stationary, etc) because I want the logo to also look good in those mediums when the time comes.
