VoterSnapper got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Be the designer who helped launch VoterSnap. (App Icon Button + Logo)

We've developed an app that gives voters the ability to quickly and easily research, on their iPhone or Android, the candidates/people that will be listed on the exact same ballet they will have on any given election day. However, instead of just a name and the occasional party reference, you'll see the candidate’s desired picture and just a snip-it (around 140 characters) of information from the candidate. The main problem: when standing in the voting booth, most voters do not know what the candidates/people look like or why they should vote for them. (Especially, any candidates outside of those running for President.) After most people vote, they “feel” they should have been more informed. Another challenge youthful (18 to 40 year old) voters face: it takes hours to do quality research on every person that will be on their ballot. Most people don't want to do that, nor do they. It's a chosen ignorance people are ok with because they didn’t have a solid alternative until VoterSnap. For those few who do research, most of them are using non-profit web sites and robust online voting tools to identify who is going to be on their ballot and whom they plan to vote for. Even still, most don’t research every race on their ballot because it takes personal time, energy, and focus. VoterSnap gives every user the opportunity to get a snap shot of info for every participating candidate on the ballot. And, VoterSnap gives every participating candidate the chance to influence real voters. We are starting in the USA but we are proud to have an international mission. It will be using native apps. iPhone & Android. The target audiences for VoterSnap are male and female registered voters with a smart phone who use native apps. The age range is typically 18 to 40 years of age.
Logo types to explore
This project is for our Logo & the App Icon that will be found in the App Store and Google Play. Please make note of that in your designs. We need our logo/branding to work hand and hand with our App Icon. We would prefer to see more concepts / rough drafts first. We will give you feedback if we like something about a specific design. If you don't get any feedback after a few days on a design, we don't like that one. We will be monitoring and providing feedback daily until we make our final selection. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
