WHAT IS PSYCHOLOGY?
Psychology is the study of human thought, emotion and behavior. A psychologist uses their knowledge for both treatment (i.e. of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders) and enhancement (i.e. of people skills, ability to influence others and manage conflict).
WHAT IS NEUROSCIENCE?
Neuroscience, the study of ‘how we are wired’. Neuroscience aims to figure out how the brain works. If we know how the brain works we can use that knowledge to improve our functioning or recover from illness/injury better.
WHY NAME MINDECO?
MindEco is short for Mind + Ecology. Ecology is all about the network surrounding a person. it describes a natural system: how a person impacts their environment and visa versa. The use of the word ecology fits in with our brand because we see efforts put towards fine-tuning the mind as far reaching in impact.
YOUR BRANDING CHALLENGE
Psychological services are seen as a luxury in most countries. It is a service commonly used by the affluent or as a last resort when there is no avoiding seeking professional help. In addition, psychology is seen as old service industry that is provided by elderly professionals.
We DO NOT want to be associated with this perception. Trustworthy and sophisticated, yes. Stale and redundant, no.
For us, we see psychology as a tool that can proactively improve lives. You do not need to wait for something traumatic to happen. You also do not need to be rich. Everyone can benefit from the tools and practices from psychology and neuroscience. We aim to teach our clients how to apply these tools and practices on a daily basis, proactively.
YOUR BRANDING SOLUTION

Your branding solution needs to convey to the audience that PSYCHOLOGY IS AN INVESTMENT. It is maintenance of the mind, emotions and behaviours that WILL improve their lives.

- Don’t like the colouring and illustration - it’s too cartoonish
- Don’t like the reference to a tree - it’s overused in psychology and in health, the same goes with leaves and anything to do with nature
- Don’t like the reference to the psychology symbol, not too many people know what it is and it also looks like a pitchfork to the everyday person
- Same comments about the psychology symbol looking like a pitchfork, don’t use it!
- Don’t like the colouring - it’s too muted / dull
