How Michael Olenick started their logo design journey
Bankruptcy Force is an informational hub allowing potential clients to receive information about their bankruptcy options, explain bankruptcy myths, advocate pro-consumer laws, and -- most importantly -- allow people to request a free consult with a licensed, local bankruptcy attorney. Also substantive section for lawyers.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Something professional; this is a group of top-tier bankruptcy lawyers. The site will offer information, calculators, ability to obtain a free consult, and eventually help through the bankruptcy process.
- professional - soothing colors that stand out on white background - stands the test of time - bold but soothing - logo works in print, online, and in other media - also can be scaled to letterhead, b-cards, envelopes, etc... - conveys competency - creative - relatively simple but recognizable - logo moves eye to right: they're moving on - something that can be used w/ ".com" and also without - final logo should be in vectors - scaleable
- neither kitschy nor depressing - something that stresses people out - something that looks like all other logos - anything stereotypical: no gavels, courthouses, scales of justice, etc...
