christina.jeffs got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Baker Hemp Co. Needs a Logo!
Check out christina.jeffs's Logo design contest…
We are a family cultivating hemp for use in production of a wide range of products, including food and beverage, cosmetics/ personal care, supplements, fabrics and textiles, construction materials, and other manufactured and industrial goods.
Other color requirements
We are liking off white/ reds/ navys or earth tones.
The ranch where the hemp is cultivated is on parts of the original Oregon Trail, and we like the idea of incorporating a covered wagon wheel in the logo somehow. We've learned that the wheel can look citrus-y, so we’re open to more abstract interpretations of the wheel or wheels that aren’t perfect circles or the name of the company in a circle. We’re also not married to the wheel— it would be great to see options with just the initials BHC or the initials more featured than the whole words. Regarding the botanical drawings of the hemp plant and seeds—we’d like to stay away from the stand-alone flat-leaf because that screams cannabis company, which we are not, but if there is a way to incorporate the whole plant or some interpretation thereof, we are open to it. We’ve included some more vintage-looking labels and ads as inspiration mostly for the font. If there’s a way to capture that vintage apothecary essence within the confines of modern spacing/ placement we could be interested in that since it’s grown in a historic district and we like a wink to the 1840’s-early 1900’s. We’re looking for the logo to function almost like a cattle brand since it will be used for such a wide array of products. Ultimately, we are the producers and we’ll be shipping it to other companies to sell for whatever use. So it will be like, “this product was made with Baker Hemp grown in America” just like a burger might be made with grass-fed Angus beef.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

Anastasia was incredibly thorough, quick to respond, and went above and beyond our project scope -- she even created a 'how to' guide for us to create future assets on Figma.
I couldn't recommend her more highly!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
